Come build the
next big thing.
Nobody has cracked real-time signals from this part of the body.
We are building the first wearable for gut and nutrition, and hiring the founding team that makes this vision a reality.
- Location
- London, in person
- Commitment
- Full-time
- Compensation
- Salary + equity
Six roles.
Head of Content
Apply →You own the camera, the edit, the calendar and the feeds, and you are measured on what those feeds do for us.
- Shoot: founder content, product, behind the scenes, talking heads. You hold the camera.
- Edit: fast, short-form first. Raw clip to posted reel without waiting on anyone.
- Direct: you decide what we make and why it will land, not just how to cut it.
- Channels: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube. You run them, read them, grow them.
- Story: make something this new and this weird feel obvious.
- Pace: keep the machine fed without dropping the quality.
- You have a reel. Accounts you grew, videos that did numbers, a channel you built.
- Equal parts creative and operator: frame the shot, then read whether it worked.
- You subconsciously keep up with the latest trends. Chronically online is a plus here.
Founding Mobile Engineer
Apply →You own the app. iOS first, Android close behind. Where people meet Suna every day, and it has to feel as considered as anything Apple ships.
- The mobile codebase, architecture and release process, end to end.
- The live connection between device and phone: pairing, syncing, background data, battery-friendly BLE.
- Turning continuous body data into interfaces people read at a glance.
- Shipping fast without shipping rubbish. No QA department, your name on it.
- You care about the last 5 per cent: the details most engineers skip.
- Apps in the store, side projects and hackathons count more than a tidy CV.
Founding ML Engineer
Apply →You turn raw signals from the body into things people can read and act on. The hard, unsolved centre of the company.
- The full modelling pipeline: messy real-world sensor data in, readable insight out.
- Signal processing on continuous physiological data.
- Models that run on-device and on the backend, and the judgement of what goes where.
- How we validate that what we tell people is actually true. Rigour is the product.
- As strong at the unglamorous parts (labelling, cleaning, validation) as at the modelling.
- Scientific honesty when the easy path is an impressive-looking demo.
Founding Firmware Engineer
Apply →You own the code that lives on the device itself. Reading the body around the clock, on a tiny battery, never losing a night of data.
- Firmware: sensor drivers, on-device data pipeline, power management, FOTA.
- BLE that syncs reliably in the real world.
- Every hour of battery life out of the hardware without dropping a sample.
- You have shipped embedded code on constrained, battery-powered hardware and lived with the consequences.
- Devices in the field, soldering-iron side projects and open source drivers count more than a CV.
Founding UI/UX Engineer
Apply →You own how Suna looks, feels and flows, on web and mobile. Figma to shipped code yourself, no handoffs. Nobody has shown people their gut before; you draw it first.
- Every screen, flow and state people touch, from first sketch to shipped code.
- The design system: type, colour, motion, components.
- How dense body data becomes simple: the charts, the rings.
- The web end to end: suna.health, onboarding, accounts.
- Figma and code are both home, and you build what you design.
- Taste you can defend. A spacing 2px off bothers you until fixed.
- You use AI tools properly (Claude, Cursor) and are faster for it.
Smart Generalist
Apply →For people who do not fit into any box. Be excellent at one thing, and willing to wander into all the rest.
- A real patch of an early, media-first hardware company, end to end.
- ML, full-stack web, firmware, mobile, design, content: wherever you go too far in.
- What you own grows as fast as you can carry it.
- You have a niche you go too far into, and the range to help everywhere else.
- Comfortable with the mess of early consumer hardware; you make calls without full information.
How we work
We work a lot. Some weekends will go to Suna. We are flexible when life gets in the way, because we are only human, but we are here because we are passionate and we want to win. This will never be a 9-to-5, and we would not want it to be. #WorkHardPlayHard
Dealbreakers
This is NOT the one if:
- No prior interest in health and health tech.
- You are high maintenance.
- You hop jobs. It is a red flag for us.
- You chase big names and vanity metrics over the mission.
- You want a strict 9-to-5. This will never be that.
Tell us why it's you.
And yes, we read every one.
